AMD to release behemoth Radeon GPU on April 26th

Taking the crown for the world’s fastest graphics card is AMD’s Radeon Duo Pro card. Announced at their Capsaicin event, it will feature two Fiji GPUs[1] each with 4096 stream processors for a whopping total of 16 TFLOPs compute.

The card will feature 8GB of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and run with liquid cooling and a modest 300W TDP. It’s likely to retail at around $1500. The AMD spokesperson suggested that often times professional users and gamers are not mutually exclusive, and suggests that this card offers an attractive solution to cater for both needs.
