AMD Released Radeon R3 SSD

AMD released the entry level Radeon R3 SSD series yesterday. The specification is still the traditional 2.5 inch SATA 6Gbps and 7mm thickness. It adopts the common Silicon Motion SM2256KX like other low end SSDs, with the TLC NAND flash. There are 120GB, 240GB, 480GB, 960GB options.

On performance metrics, the read speed is at 510-520MB/s and the write speed is at 360-470MB/s. We don’t know details about the random IO performance.

AMD provide 3 years of warranty. You can get the 120/240/480GB for only $ 40.99/69.99/136.99 on Amazon.
